Position Summary

Blondie’s Salon & Spa is seeking a licensed and experienced Massage Therapist to join our spa team. In this role, you will deliver customized, high-quality massage services designed to support guest wellness, relaxation, and recovery. The ideal candidate is passionate about the wellness industry, holds an active Indiana license or certification, and is committed to providing an exceptional guest experience. Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

  • Conduct thorough consultations using Blondie’s standardized consultation framework

  • Create personalized treatment plans based on client needs and preferences

  • Educate guests on products and services to support ongoing wellness

  • Document guest preferences, products used, and recommended follow-up treatments

  • Encourage return visits through personalized recommendations and follow-up communication

  • With guest permission, capture service photos for marketing and engagement

  • Participate in guest relationship-building initiatives such as thank-you notes, check-in calls, and seasonal gifts

  • Use internal systems and processes to ensure consistent, high-quality guest service

Goal Setting & Performance Tracking

  • Attend monthly one-on-one coaching sessions with spa leadership

  • Submit a coaching reflection form one week prior to each session

  • Track daily service performance and align with team-wide goals

Continued Education & Growth

  • Attend all paid education sessions provided by Blondie’s

  • Proactively seek additional educational opportunities to refine technique and expand services

  • Use downtime to review product and ingredient knowledge

  • Participate in team-based learning and collaborative professional development

Cleanliness & Sanitation

  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-organized workstation at all times

  • Restock all supplies needed for services and transport laundry to designated areas daily

  • Ensure all common areas remain neat, professional, and guest-ready

Marketing & Business Development

  • Maintain a professional social media presence showcasing your services and specialty

  • Share relevant photos and content a minimum of twice per week

  • Participate in business-building efforts, marketing campaigns, and salon/spa events

Compensation & Benefits

  • Earnings Structure: 40% service commission or hourly rate, whichever is higher; 10% retail commission; plus tips

Dress Code & Professional Standards

All team members are expected to maintain a sophisticated business casual appearance and uphold exceptional standards of personal care and hygiene. As a luxury salon and spa, every team member represents the brand’s image and guest experience. A polished, professional presence is required at all times.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current Indiana Massage Therapy License or Certification

  • Strong communication skills and client rapport

  • Ability to recommend services and home care products with confidence

  • Excellent time management and reliability

  • Commitment to continued growth, collaboration, and professional conduct

Level System & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Blondie’s operates on a structured level system with quarterly opportunities to “level up” based on performance. Quarterly reviews assess individual responsibilities, performance goals, and professional development.

Key KPIs include:

  • Average Service Ticket

  • Average Retail Ticket

  • Prebook Percentage

  • New Client Retention

  • Existing Client Retention
